One of Rotary's Mottos is the 4-way test of the things we think, say, or do. We should consider the 4-way test in just about every decision we make.
The 4-way test is as follows:
- First: Is it the truth?
- Second: Is it fair to all concerned?
- Third: Will it build good will and better friendships?
- Fourth: Will it be beneficial to all concerned?
The Rotary of Star Valley club has a large banner of the 4-way test hanging at all of our meetings too remind us of how inportant this is. A picture of our banner is to the left. Click on it to see an enlargement (sorry for the poor photography).
