The Rotary Club of Star Valley is responsible for cleaning up part of Route 89. Our section is South of Thayne, between the road to the landfill and the bridge by the Silver Stream Lodge.

We chose Monday, May 14th, 2007 as our cleanup day. Several members showed up and our President, Darrel Skinner, brought his whole family.

It was manpower against horsepower, though, when Lloyd Baker showed up with his 4-wheeler, and pitted it against Darrel's children. Can't say who picked up more trash, but it was a fun evening of community service for all.
